FAQ: Proxies, API and Access Keys
Access Keys and Purchases
How do I recover my access key?
To recover your access key, please visit the Digiseller purchases and key recovery page.
What are the API limits for retrieving proxies?
- Request frequency: no more than two requests every 5 seconds.
- Daily request limit: up to 34,560 calls. If you exceed the quota, the API responds with an error.
- Subnet limitation: no more than 10 subnets in the "a.b.0.0/16" format. The limit resets every 24 hours.
How do I get a username and password for proxies?
No usernames or passwords — these are open proxies that don’t require authentication. The service gives access to a list of open IPv4 proxies not owned by this platform.
What should I do after purchasing an access key?
After purchasing, sign in with the key and pick the proxies you need.
What is a public proxy?
A public proxy is a server that hides your IP and lets you browse anonymously. These proxies are open to everyone and can help bypass blocks, boost anonymity, or test services.
How does the proxy checker work?
We verify the availability of public proxy servers and detect their key characteristics such as speed, anonymity level, and geographic location.
How often are proxy checks updated?
Checks run in real time and the whole list cycles through every 5 to 10 minutes.
Can I use the service to check my private proxy server?
No — only public proxies are checked. Private servers are not supported.
Why do some proxies stop working?
Proxies belong to third-party servers — owners can disable or restrict them at any time.
How can I check the anonymity level of my proxy?
We display the anonymity level for every proxy. Possible levels include:
- Transparent Proxy - does not hide your real IP address.
- Anonymous Proxy - hides your IP address but reveals that a proxy is in use.
- High Anonymous Proxy - hides both your IP address and the fact that you’re using a proxy.
What should I do if my proxy stops working?
If a proxy stops responding, try it with another tool or check that the server isn't overloaded. Proxies can be temporarily unavailable under heavy load.
Can I use the results for commercial purposes?
Please review our terms of use first.
How many proxy servers will I get after purchasing?
The number of available proxies depends on the plan you choose.
Where do the proxies on this site come from?
